I'm back and I survived . . . . . just

Hello there, first post for a while due to exams, but they're now finished and I survived . . . . just.  I don't think I did too well and am expecting to have to resit a couple at least.  This could be avoided (as I understand) if I ace my Spring semester modules, which I intend to do.
If there's one good thing to come out of January exams, it's that they highlighted that I need to do a lot more work and reading around my subjects when not at university.  The bad side however, is that there is a small chance that one or more of the resits (if required) could potentially fall during Bestival.  I'm starting to formulate a plan that would navigate around this problem, but it's still in it's early stages and there are many hurdles to overcome.
This is the first week of the new semester and I've so far had lectures in two of my new modules.  One was Data Transfer Analysis & Presentation, which seems boring as!  One highlight though was that one of the lecturers is called Dr John Hammond like off of Jurassic Park!  The other module was Managing Tourism and the Environment: Conflict or Consensus.  The lecturer for this one seems a right laugh and seems very passionate about his field.
Today, I have my third lecture of the new semester which is Environmental Archeology.  I'm quite looking forward to this as it involves bones and fossils and cool stuff like that.  Maybe one day I could end up on time team digging shit out of the ground to find out what the climate etc was like back in the good old days when God were a lad!

Anyway, must dash, lecture is in an hour :-)
